I`m new here of course but this is my 2nd Range Rover. My 1st was a 95 LWB. Loved it. I now have a 96 4.0se. I just purchased it with a break issue. Only the front breaks engage and they are really spongey and require double pumping and excessive force to stop. What is the cause for this? Is this an easy fix for a very mechanically inclined person?

Welcome to the forum... first check your brake fluid and make sure you have some.... if you are low this will cause the issue and you may even need to bleed the brakes to flush out bad fluid or air. You may even have a leak in the break line.... this is very dangerous and should be check ASAP....

Pretty standard, someone pumping the brakes while someone opens/closes the bleeder at the caliper.
