Hi to everyone
Currently have a 1997 300tdi but am thinking of changing it for a TD5. What do you think - is it worth it ??

Welcome to the forum... for the money I would say no, the 300TDI is a very strong engine and can be modified with minimal effort as well as the fact that it only requires 1 wire to stay running.

The TD5 requires a computer and is not as easy to modify.

just my $0.02 worth.
