Help with Side Mirror

I had to replace my side mirror on my 2005 LR3 and I'm having a very difficult time installing this mirror,I called all the dealers in my local area and the price range is from $40-$100 for supposebly 10minutes worth of work can someone please help me if there is some kind of trick to this mirror?
