Couldn't agree with you more...

By $$$ better spent elsewhere I was referring to upgrading the bumpers. In the instance that I had a couple grand to put into my truck upgrading the bumpers from old to new would be pretty far down the list.

If we all spent our money where we "should", I happen to think life would be rather boring.

By the way did you ever do the Mojave road this fall?

Alright, I'm following you now. Bumpers are pretty far down on my list also. I think suspension, brakes, wheel bearings and a few other things are top on my list. Gears, axles and lockers would be next.

I didn't make that trip to the Mojave Rd for two reasons. First, the wife's car was broken into and subsequently totaled, as it cost more to repair the damage from the burglary then it was worth. So, I had to use my trip funds for that. Second, the trip was cancelled anyway.
