i checked at thule's site yesterday and they do have a model that swings away ($399) and LR sells their's for $420 something. shouldn't i go for the LR one if there is only a little difference in price. i am going to most likely finish the paperwork today at my dealer, i thought if i bought the rack with the vehicle it would be covered with the vehicle's warranty. should i even look for the one that swings away, i mean it is as sturdy enough as the others "non swinging" ones. i can live with the fact that the rear hatch/door won't open if the non-swinging rack is more sturdy, etc. i will be doing long drives and highway speeds.
also, what class and size is the LR3 tow hitch is?
and there are other type of racks also available, my guess is i should go with the one that fits into the tow hitch receiver, right?
thanks.
