LR2 saying hello from Virginia

Hello all,
I got this 200K miles Freelander LR2... it was a first car for a teenager so it got pretty chewed up and neglected, obviously.
I paid a grand for it... I only bought it because the engine sounded great and I wanted to keep it as a beater.

A quick look under the car and I found an endless sea of leaks, an extremely loud (most likely perforated) cat and a wet read diff.
Everything seems to work... it shifts, it revs, the 4x4 High and Low seem to work.

As I don't know anything about Lands I made my way here. I will need advice to giving this old gentleman a chance to run another 100K miles.

I am not sure if I should post here, start a thread on the "new LR2 forum" or the sub-forum "Freelander forum".

So to start I need a new radiator... I found one for $156 on Advanced Auto parts with 5 years warranty. There are options on eBay for $90 but I don't know if they are any good.
I also need a flex pipe/cat. I found one on eBay for $256.
The rear diff seems to be working but it is leaking so I was wondering if I should buy a remanufactured one on eBay for around $400 or if I should try to fix the diff myself.
I have regular tools and an impact driver. I am not sure if that is enough to take the diff apart and put it back together. I will need your opinion on that.
I also believe I need a new oil pan gasket and a gear box gasket. I will need to pressure wash the the whole thing to be able to find the leaks.

I added pictures and I certainly appreciate any advice and guidance to bring the this LR2 to a more decent
