Looking for advice on my 2016 LR4 in Seattle.
Bought the vehicle earlier this year (~9 months ago). From the very beginning the low coolant light kept coming on. First step was replacing the thermostat housing with my own mechanic — light still came back. Took it back to the selling dealer twice, they said it was “just air bubbles” and bled the system. The problem kept returning.
Recently the coolant light came on again, I checked and the coolant surged up when I opened the tank, then within 10 minutes of driving it overheated. Current mechanic now says it’s a head gasket issue and I may need an engine replacement. Looking for mechanic recommendations in Seattle area.
