Im new here and I need some help. I have an 05 LR3 and when I start the car I get multiple error messages such as Transmission Fault limited gears available, Engine system fault, HDC fault, special options not available, and so on. Everyone else I talked to says that this could be caused by a weak battery, I recently replaced the battery and it still does it. Any ideas? Any help would be very much appreciated!

Have the alternator checked. It that checks out you'll need to read the fault codes and see what's going on. Otherwise its just a shot in the dark.

Well if the battery is good and the alternator is good. You have no choice but to have the codes read. You will then have the info to solve the problem...

Had Many Of The Same Faults And It Turned Out To Be A Break Light Sensor. Chk. Break Lights
Well had my 05 lr3 in 30 days ago with the exact same faults and the dealer said it was my brake pedal switch and recommended replacing the battery. Did all this and had all the same faults reoccur! Taking it in tomorrow. Let me know what you end up doing...I'll keep you posted on mine....
