Ok maybe it's the battery. I wrote in last week about my alarm thinking the doors were still open. Now I have a new problem last night the tempature dropped below frezzing and at around 7:30 this morning my alarm went off for no reason I went out and inserted my key in the lock and it turned off I didn't reset the alarm just left the doors unlocked and went back inside.Ten minutes later the alarm went off again so I went out started it up and drove around my block. came home and it didn't do it again. my question is can a old battery be the cause of all these problems? if not does anyone know what could be causing these weird bugs. Thanks, Derek

hi derek

have your battery load tested,,check your battery terminals etc..been working as a chrysler tech for 25 years,,rovers are my hoppy...check your hood alarm switch and check all your doors that there closing properly,tight...changes in temp can cause metal to contract and expand..a good way to test alarm is to arm system and wiggle all doors and hood and see if alarm trips.....good luck,,hope this helps..scott

hey thanks for your reply turns out my battery was going although it was still charging it was only at about 1/2 of the normal cold crank so I put in a new battery and it seems to be fine now.
