Hi Fellow Disco Owners,
I have an interesting question. My oil warning light just came on today with no apparent reason or rhyme.
I had the oil changed yesterday, new air filter and the engine degreased (water, high pressure) .
The engine runs smoothly and does not sound funny and the oil level checks ok. I also had the emmissions checked today (passed) and the oil light came on right after that. Any way a mechanic could cause that to happen just from an emmissions test?
Or possibly water intrusion from the engine bath into a sensor socket or electrical connection?
My vehicle stats: 01 Disco ll, 4.0, 76K miles, bone stock (no mods)
