If you can afford them, go ahead and get them. I guess you have already shopped around.

Best... Tires... EVER. ;)

Seriously, I've had great luck with the BFGs.

What do you do with you truck, do you go off road much, mud, snow, rain or any thing like that?
I just came back with a friend, who was running BFG AT's, in the snow and heavy rain and they were terrible, compared to my BFG MT's.
The good side of the AT is they last quite a while.

I bought Geolander AT+II, got a great deal on them from my local discount tire, and I'm very happy with them.

Not a super-aggressive mud or rock-crawler treat, but really decent in the snow and ice, with much better wear than my last set of pirelli's and much less expensive than the Michelins before that.

I don't do much serious off roading in the disco any more, just find it much more fun on the dirt bikes, so 70%+ road tires work great for me.

I bought Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO about 10K miles ago and love them. TireRack.com has them for $123/tire.
