About a month ago the air suspension stopped working. The old pump was blowing the 60 amp fuse so I threw a meter on it and sure enough, it was grounding out. Just trying to figure it out I depressurized the system with the RWS tool (I know I should not have done this, I was thinking maybe it would take pressure off the pump a allow it to start up. BAD IDEA!!!). I had driven it to work and back one time (very slowly) before parking it because it was just too bouncy to drive. Before this 1 drive (about 10 min) to work the only faults were the air suspension. About half way to work the speedometer stopped working and the hdc and abs lights came on. I limped it home and it sat for about 2 months.
Today I finally had the time to replace the pump. new pump installed and the air suspension light is off, HDC, ABS lights remain. The pump runs the normal amount to fill the tanks then shuts off. The suspension will not raise. Its like the valves don't even open to let air in. I have tried resetting it but I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I can communicate with the level sensors and run live data on them so I don't think its a EAS computer issue. I replaced the fuse and relay for the pump at the same time. It had a wheel speed sensor code that I cleared. I wouldn't think that would keep the suspension from at least airing up.
I now have it on a trickle charger and its on the ground. All I need to do is get the suspension to air up a little so its drivable.
A little background;
The front and rear shocks were replaced about 2 years ago along with the air pump with a reman unit. None of the valve blocks have been replaced.
I currently cant diagnose a leak because it wont even attempt to air up.
