Reverse Lights

Is there a place I can tie into the reverse lights in center console ? if so what color wire?

Not sure if there is a reverse switch on the shifter or not...

Just curious why would you want to do this?

to install a backup camera

Ok, the reason I ask is I know of a backup camera that uses the wiring at the backup lights, and mounts on the plate holder then transmits wirelessly to the monitor... I would think this would be easier.

the car has and audio system in it with a 7" monitor in the dash there fore requiring the connection close to the dash would be less work.
