If you really want to do it right, buy 3 cans.
One in the fuel tank
One inthe crank case
Onr through the vaccumn line into the throttle body, not thru the PCVhose.
Then afte a can thru the vaccumn, let it sit for half an hour then go drive the S--- out of it.

And, prepare for quite the smoke cloud. This stuff should be called smoke screen instead of seafoam.

Mike...

every time I put seafoam in the vaccum line, throw a code, can't remember which one, but its basically right bank running rich which makes sense pouring that stuff in there...

MY question is, is there a way to keep this from happening, and if not, will disconeecting the battery clear the code?

You are getting codes because of where you are putting the SeaFoam in I bet.
Buy yourself a 2 foot piece of hose that will fit one of the vaccumn fittings near the throttle body. Hook it to the fitting, put the other end into the can and use a pair of plyers to regulate the flow thru the line. All the flow to be slow enough so it takes at least 2 minutes to suck all the fluid in, then turn off the engine for 30 minutes.
You should be set.
