Hello Everyone:
I am new to the forum and had a question for you good people. I did a search earlier and found some posts regarding brake noise. About 5000 miles ago I had the rear brakes replaced due to a bad install at a local garage. No sound there. I have had squeaky front brakes from day one on the fronts. About 10K miles ago I had the fronts done with aftermarket kit from British Atlantic.
I noticed that on the dealer invoice for the rears that they applied some sort of anti squeak. Does anyone know what this product is and how to use it.
BTW the dealership said the fronts were fine as well as an independent Land Rover Service Center. The independent also stated that the brakes usually made that sound no matter what they did to them the sound always returns. In addition the rack and pinion and control arm bushings have been replaced under extended warranty.
Thank you!
