can anyone tell me if it is ok to shift between different terrains while the vehicle is moving or should you always come to a complete stop, prior to selecting a different one.

I routinely change TR settings on the fly. As I understand it you are just reprogramming the computer.

The only program that would have an issue is "Rock Crawl"...you must put into low range to use..stop,neutral,select low and I generally use command shift off road. HTH

Technically you don't even need to stop in order to put it in low range, just neutral and not be going above the speed indicated in your manual (actual number is escaping me at the moment)


But Yeah you can definitely change on the fly
