Tips for soft sand driving with my discovery

have recently got a 1997 disco and am taking it to OBX to do some beach fishing and sand driving..,

what should i know what gears should i use?

Lower tire pressure will be your best item for info... 18 - 22 PSI, lock the diff and leave in drive.. sand requires plenty of power
