So, I bought a boat last night, and went to hook it up to the rover to tow it home, and I couldnt seem to figure out where you are supposed to hook the safety chains? Most vehicles have a couple of holes right near the hitch that you can hook on the chains. No such thing on the rover. I was able to wrap them around the 2 bars that come up from the frame, but I'm sure that's not where they are supposed to go...

A picture for fun:

wheni get home I can snap shot of it - although it's simply the factory installed receiver, with a regular 2" reese ball mount, kinda like this one

- although I had to use one with about 4 inches of drop to make the trailer level... rover sure does tow nice though ;)

Interesting that they make a hitch without somewhere to attach the safety chain. Perhaps, the solution would be to wrap the safety chain around the inside of the ball hitch with just sufficient slack. If the trailer does let go, then at least the A frame won't drag on the ground. I hope what I have said make sense.
