What's up fellow rovers?!
When the parking alarm comes on turn the volume dial down to the desired level - or just turn it all the way to off if you prefer and that should take care of any volume annoyance you may have.
If you're looking to disable the alarm, see danhriggen's thread on disabling the feature using the GAP IID tool.

I'm new to the site and saw mention of people being annoyed by the parking aid alarm a few times. I've got a base LR4 (no camera or front parking sensor, only comes w/ rear parking sensor) so I assume this would work on the other models. I don't have the GAP tool, yet
