I have not removed the tire carrier and bumper to take another look at mine. Only real problem with leaving it broken is the annoying beep at startup.

Yup, same deal here. I'm pretty sure none of the sensors are being activated, as I can hear nothing. Beeps at startup...four light blinks and then nothing.

Ok, I seem to have found my issue in the front wiring harness. The workshop manual mentions a reset short protection routine after the circuit faults are repaired. "Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, clear the DTCs and perform routine - Reset/Clear Specified Function (Reset Short Protection) (0x040E)".

Anyone know if there is a way for me to do this with IID Tool?

Apologies for dragging up an old thread, but did you ever manage to get this sorted. I've got the same message

Wondering what I need to do to get rid of it to get the parking sensors working again.
