    Rear sound amplifier?

Amp is integral to the subwoofer ass'y located in the rear hatch. PS: I am not a retired service manager of 30 years, and do not drive a 99 D2 with the following mods: Custom made front and rear bumpers, Warn 9500 HSI with 3/8th's rope, sliders, QT diff. guards, electronic CDL, 4:11...

    Location of AC Fan Sensor

Condenser fans Unless my training was useless, a quality VOM used directly on the fan contacts behind the grill will tell the true story. :hmpf:

    Yikes! No brakes!

@rellard, TY for the input. If no obvious leakage, what led you to the RF caliper?

    Yikes! No brakes!

Master cylinder Yes Joey, two bolts. I was hoping for specifics regarding the possible cause(s) if the leak(s), Also, can you tell me if the reservoir just pops off the master cylinder? And I'd just like to add your knowledge of the D1 has always been accurate and very helpful. Thanks.

    Yikes! No brakes!

Yikes Thanks for the prompt response, Joey. I found a leak, it appears to be coming from the joint between the master cylinder and the brake servo. There is fluid on the lower lip of the MC mounting flange and enough fluid on the inner fender well beneath to remove the paint, so I can't rule...

    Yikes! No brakes!

My '97 D1 is my toy. I enjoy working on it as much as driving it. I have a GMC Sierra Z-71 4x4 as my DD. I took the Disco for it's weekly ride the other day just to run it. Coming out of the driveway, the brake pedal went to the floor, tho I could pump the system up. Checking it out, I could...

Now don't ya be raggin' on Disco Mike. He's God's gift to Rover kind, a legend in his own mind. Actually he is quite knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he believes his superior knowledge gives him the right to be rude to peeps of lesser knowledge. Hey Mike, that's just my opinion, and you know...

Land Rover LSE 1997 or 1998

@1997LRLSE: As usual, Disco Mike is on top of things and sharp as a water balloon. Land Rover changed over from the DI to the DII model in mid-year in the 1998 production run. As a result, both can be considered a 1998 model.
