instrument pack going "dark"
I am the sometimes proud owner of an '08 LR3 SE that has started an alarming habit. The instrument cluster or pack will just "go dark" randomly. No speedo., no tach., fuel goes to empty, engine temp. registers cold. All other systems A-OK. After a few moments (up to a minute or so)... -

Thanks Greg 9504... this tends to confirm the theory that I was seking opinions on. Do tell though, how familiar did this scenario sound? I see from the thumbnail you are located quite a bit further north than I. Did your faults come and go depending on the temperature too? -

I feel I should further clarify... upon start up while the compressor is doing its thing... I can select access height and it will cease compressing and lower. Likewise, I can select off-road height and the compressor continues to run but the bladders inflate as expected and the vehicle will... -

cd player button advice
the "previous track" button on my radio/cd player has lost its "spring"... it stays in the depressed position and does not function. any quick fixes or secrets to rectify this problem? thanks. -

center brake lamp assembly replacement...
sorry i did not give enough info and led you to think the lamp does not work... the lamp lights perfectly fine when brakes are applied; my problem is the plastic lens has a crack / hole in it and i would like to replace it for appearance reasons... i don't think it is an led set-up... i have... -

thanks one and all for the replies. but a quick follow up question... about how long a trip would be needed to warm the cabin above the creaking threshold? as i stated, turning off some of the cabin heat seems to improve the situation ... also, i work outside & overnight so for the next 4... -
