Shifter tape access
Does anyone know how to access the shifter tape on a D1 automatic. Its the black strip of plastic that moves with the shifter. Somehow, the black square gadget that secures the tape to the shifter lever got dislodged and the indicator isnt lined up properly. Thanks, John -

Guess what I found in my oil pan
What in the world is this? I dropped the pan due to poor oil pressure upon startup. Found the pickup tube loose. So, while it was down and out, I cleaned out the pan. What a mess. And in the bottom was this metal sleeve that almost looks like some sort of dowel pin. Its about 1/4 in tall... -

Diff and Tcase service
I will be attempting to change the diff and t-case fluids this week. I have never done this on a LR and was hoping I could get some advice. What oil? 90wt? Is there a gasket involved with the diffs? any other pointers?
