Wow I am so glad I didnt get a freelander. It was a choice between a 03 lander or a 98 disco. Disco's cool some issues(is a rover) but not as bad as you guys. Good luck

Freelanders are too small. I think the Disco is a better choice but I'm biased lol.

lr2 are very nice but, i would rather pay for a full size rover espscially for that price
The Freelanders are Lemon's... Disco's are more like a Green Lime. The Disco is a more organic standard design. The Freelander was a very, very cheply put together car. The problems on the Freelander are Systematic. Many of the same issues across the complete product year span. Sometimes manufacturers improve the cars, but the Freelander has the same birth defects 02-05.
