Check battery, Starter, but if you mean the engine will not even turn over was it low on oil? Did it over heat?

I was driving at about 45 mph and the engine shut off. It was at night, all the lights stayed on and the battery terminals are snug. It will crank, but wont start. Starter is fine, and temperature was normal. Engine didnt sieze, I'm guessing fuel pump went out. Wondering if there are any other culprits if not the pump. Any suggestions?

Depending on mileage, I would start with checking fuel as you have stated.
