The Jatco Automatic transmission used in the 2002 to 2005 Freelanders uses Texaco N402 Automatic Transmission fluid. Land Rover places a label and renames it LRN402.
To the best of my understanding, using Dexron 2 or 3 will permanently damage the Jatco.
