I got my Freelander in Aug and we have yet to get snow, how do they perfrom in snow? I have a Jeep Wrangler and it goes well in snow but I am use to actually putting it in 4wd, unlike the Freelander that is AWD.

Hi,

I ran a Freelander 3door SE over in Norway 2004 - 2006 were we had lots and lots of snow and ice during the winter. Most weekends we would be in the hills and the car performed very well fitted with BFG ATs rather than the std Goodyear tyres. I only got stuck once but that was my fault not checking the depth of snow on a forest road and had to be pulled out by a local farmer. .... Now I live in Sunny Texas and have an LR3 so no winter driving here...
