Jag engine or Ford engine

I just bought a 2006 Land Rover LR3 SE 4.4L V8. How would I be able to find out if I have a Jaguar engine or a Ford engine?

The 4.4 was a Jag built engine. The 4.0 Cologne V6 was a ford engine built in Cologne Germany for Euro cars and also used in Jags.

Yes, and just to confuse the issue further, the engine is built in the Ford Bridgend plant in South Wales.
