We're going to start providing new stats for the odds of requiring no repairs and the odds of getting a lemon. These require larger sample sizes, so additional participants would be helpful.

We have updated results for the LR3 to include owner experiences through September 30, 2009. In terms of successful repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2006: 140

2005: 130

BOth are worse than average. Small sample size for the 2005.

Everyone who has been helping, thanks once again. We'll have further updates in February and May. With more participants, we could provide more precise information and cover all model years.

Now 194 signed up. A very good start, but more remain needed to fully cover all model years. The 2004 is currently a single vehicle short of the minimum.

FWIW - I have had my '07 LR3 for now one year. Over that time, I have had only one failure. The fuel sender in the gas tank failed causing the fuel gauge to read empty.
