Well, after a solid cleaning of the MAF more than a few days ago - the little yellow 'Service Engine' elf light hasn't reappeared. Meaning, it's the MAF that's going south, not the O2 sensors. I should receive the replacement sensors soon, and will still replace what's there as they appear to be original (front). Once the elf light comes back into glow, I'll replace that silly MAF too....
