Officially out of warranty

50010 on the LR3 today. I just picked it up from the dealer for its last warranty visit. I took some advice from this forum....thanks..... and accessed the IPIX landrover resource site. I found 6 TSB's that aligned with symptoms I was noticing. Printed them out along with a list of symptoms and gave them to the service advisor. I also left a copy of the bulletins on the seat. The result was:

New motor for the rear locker
New speakers in the front doors
New seat mem module
New airbag cover
New steering shaft in the steering column
lubed recirc doors
New weatherstripping on the driver's door
recalibrated steering angle


I had used this dealer in the past and received can not replicate concern on some of this stuff. So for the $17 for 24hr subsription, I am very pleased.

The rover has officially entered DIY country with a good head start thanks to you guys.

Thanks. I have a 2008 LR3 HSE so am looking towards the point when I'll need to get my extended warranty and servicing.
