I may be purchasing a set of wheels from an ebay seller in the UK (I'm in the US). What would be the best shipping method that provides tracking - UPS? I realize the cost may be prohibitive. Is there a way to avoid customs charges?

No way to avoid customs unless you are able to get them added to a container of other stuff coming in. Might check with some of the guys who import parts/trucks regularly. For most parts I order, I just use TNT and absorb the customs charges.

Make sure they have a weight rating above 940kg per wheel. If they're genuine LR wheels you'll be fine.
