Ok - I did something stupid. I forgot the rear glass for was up and closed the garage door which went back up due to the entanglement and then broke one of the the shocker struts. I can see you guys rolling your eyes now, so stop it! ;-)

Question:
1. I saw online that it's part number:
BHE780012 - is that the only thing I need to replace or something else I need to do?

2. The other strut seems to be fine but it alone is not maintaining the pressure. Does that mean I need to change that one too?

3. Any special installation instructions or pretty straightforward screw it in?

Thanks in advance

The struts were upgraded at some point in time to work better if one failed. Did you rip the stud completely out, can't make it out in the picture.

BHE780060 is the part I ordered, it's been a while though. They only come as the strut, no mounting studs, because they snap on the studs. If you need studs, you will need to order them separately, and I do not have the P/N.
