Reg vs Premium fuel?

Using 89 here while the the temps are in the 80 and 90's. When it starts to get over 100, I'll use 91.

You should. But I think some people are looking to skimp. Therefore, it is almost acceptable to do so at lower temps. I always run 92 (all we have) here. But during the winter, I told my wife she can put 89 if it helps her feel like she is saving coupel buck for Starbucks.

I would not recommend that in hot weather.

People buy expensive cars then skimp...***? Those people I guess are biying cars they can't truly afford

Why pay more when it runs great on 89? If I work it hard (wheeling, road trips) I'll use 91/93...otherwise, more money for the $20 per week that I use for cleaing supplies (only so I can say how clean it is, washed twice a week, waxed 4 times a year....)
