So here's my issue: my 06 rrs sc has thrown all kinds of warnings, transmission fault limited gears, transmission fault reduced traction, park brake fault, check engine light, hdc fault, no special programs, suspension fault, srs light, abs light, F in the gear selection instead of D, DRS light on , fluctuating idle and stalls. i need a MAF sensor and a new thermostat, that i know. I took it to an independent garage that works on them. The list of codes it pulled are astounding, at least 75 codes. I am at a loss i'm hoping its something like my battery. i can't imagine it all going at once.

Any input would be greatly appreciated . the codes :

hi heathen the two engine codes are for mass or volume air flow A circuit low and engine coolant over temperature condition, and a few codes are showing lost communication with ECM/PCM A i would suggest a full diagnostic check to rule out any conflicting codes i would think some of them are from past jobs done on vehicle where there are sensors (eg brakes ,lights, fuel system)these will leave codes but not put on the engine management light

Did you try replacing the battery with a AGM version? I had this happen on my 08 RR-SC and once I replaced both the $20 brake light switch under driver dash and swapped battery with Sears Platinum AGM the Christmas lights on dash and errors went away. Just resolved problem myself on 12/2/17

My Original problems out of the blue were - HDC Fault, Transmission Fault Reduced Traction, Transmission Fault Stop with Care, then yellow ABS warning lights along triangle with arrow in center dash.
Apparently LR vehicles are very sensitive with low voltages or failing battery. BTW, the battery I replaced was deemed fine by auto shops that tested it. Intermittent failures with loads on it will cause faults and false warning lights.

Finally got it looked at after the radiator and now head gasket needs replaced the battery was the code issue but $3500 later what else at 120000 miles is going to go wrong , my cosigner wants to just sell it and take a lose since we still owe $10000 on it . is it worth keeping or get something with more affordable fixes?
