Here is another idea...I know that my local dealer stopped using air guns to install lug nuts. They now put them on by hand using a torque wrench. Over-torqueing lug nuts or tightening them unevenly can warp brake rotors. And it's nearly impossible to loosen overtightened lug nut with that tire wrench if you get a flat tire. I just did my winter tire swap this morning and had no problem loosening the dealer installed lug nuts.

I use my torque wrench to check their job. So far so good. But I don't know how they get to it. Probably air gun and then torque wrench.
