I see where this thread is going. And... I foresee a sticky being applied.

Here's what I did last evening. The repainted G4 Roof rack in place I did a test run of my new SUV tent. Fit pretty well after some tweaks. I think the fam are going to love camping with this thing.

The Tent is from Campright and is about $250-300. Quality is good - not top end tent (like Eureka, Kelty or others good). The seams are sealed and taped, but I will still likely do a waterproofing treatment on it.

I also got a Kelty 16 foot Noah's tarp for a large rain-fly over the whole setup. Daddy likes to be dry when it rains. I plan on doing a full setup on Sunday. I'll post up some photos when I get it set.
