I also run 18s AND 19s...but not everyone can do that. Not everyone on the board shelled out $50k - $60k on their LR3s like you and I did either. A lot of folks were smart and waited until there was a used market where they could pluck gems with low miles for half the price!

:)

I used to run those BFGs on a Bronco II back in high school. Good tires. I am really liking my Goodyear MT/Rs though. Can't go wrong with either of those.

A used lr3 is still a vehicle of that level, at least in terms of servicing etc.
Anyway, I have about 50k on a set right now and they look like I have many k's left.

I had them flipped not too long ago so the inner edges are now out to wear more evenly. Probably part of why they are lasting so long?

That's a great idea to flip them, if you don't mind the white lettering. I will likely do that with my MT/Rs too at some point...especially because I run them with the rod-mod and hence always in (at least) off-road height.

It may not really help much if you ride all the time in the higher setting because the camber is more square whereas in factory form you can see how "normal" ride height provides negative camber to aid with stability.

Anyone on factory heights would benefit from the tire flipping though.

Really? I always felt like the higher settings made the camber less square...just my observation though. I could be seeing things....

at normal factory height, you can see the wheels "leaning in" at the top, just like a bmw or audi car in the rear. The front seems square though.

in standard off road height, they look about square in the rear though to me.

anyway, the factory highway height causes inner tire edge wear that is considerable over time.

I don't have mods or other lift on mine. the heights are factory.
