With these big ol' tires....nobody has had an issue with the EAS wiring in the front left wheel well? I have done the mod whereby I moved it to the top of the frame via zip-tie, but my 32.6" Cooper still ripped it down last weekend and caused a suspension fault.

(interestingly enough, everything still worked! Only effect was the EAS dumping air when I turned off the engine)

Great write-up. Well done guys.

I'm curious though: why haven't LR teams finished in the past?

Also, did you use pulleys with the winch?

No idea really but my guess is they saw the tree car wash and decided to salvage their paint jobs.

I should have use a pulley but I didn’t realize I was buried as I was.

No one had any issues they all did the same thing as you.

Great story and thanks for your service to country!

Glad you enjoyed the write up and thank you for the support!

I just finished doing all the planning for Coal Country II and I am watching the spots fill up pretty quick for a overland trip across PA, MD and ending in WV.

Good point. That can get ugly and expensive.

I was there when that challenge was posted. It made my blood boil. I wished so bad I was in a position to enter.... I knew the moment the Lucky8 men, and ArmyRover pulled the trigger, IT WAS ON!!!

I knew from that moment, "Rover's", would be finishing there Rally. I also know Rover people good enough to know it was never about winning either.

I cheered the team on every second of the way.

Great write up ArmyRover!
