Time to replace my rear brakes.

I love the feel/power of the OEM brakes, and don't want to bother with anything else.

I remember reading a while back that had the company who manufactures the Land Rover branded parts, but they also have their brand (same part, but no LR logo)

I searched some of the other brake threads but I cant find the post..

Anyone know what company it is? Thanks!

The TWR TPC1099 Looks like the correct rear pads, but so do the Ferodo FDB1613.

Guess I'm just going to take a look and see if any logo is on my current pads.

Edit: Land Rover pads start the part number with FER. Going to assume its the Ferodo pads.

I got Brembo rotors and Ferodo pads in all wheels. Excellent, long lasting and no name-brand (Land Rover) premium.

akebono ceramic pads or EBC greens if you want to minimize dust and not sacrifice stopping power.

Akebonos are usually solid if not a bit wooden in feel. They are clean. The Brembo ceramics I am running on the front still dust quite a bit, about halfway between stock and the akebonos. They do have great feel though.

Honestly, I just pad slapped the LR4 with front and rear pads for about $41 total. I have been down the OEM/Aftermarket route. I feel no difference in performance. I have purchased the rotors from these folks as well in the past. They are out of San Antonio.

I just checked our records and the last time was performed a rotor/pad job was Aug. 2017. We just replaced the pads this weekend. The rotors were good. Two years of daily driving for work, school, etc. seems fair.

If you want the OEM pads and rotors go to Atlantic British. They sell OEM and less expensive bake parts. Make sure you purchase the wear sensors also. More than likely you will have to replace them if you want to have that capability. There is one on the LH front and RH rear and usually crack when you remove them from the pads. If you don't care to have the wear capability and they crack just tie the two wires together going to the plug and you will bypass the wear sensor.
