A/C Compressor Noise
Definetly the compressor making noise from under the hood. Drive way test confirmed. When switched on it sounds like a bearing slightly whining and changes pitch with the engine RPM. Switch the A/C off the the noise stops. Will have it checked for freon pressure later this week. Hopefully it... -

Recurrent sunroof leak

Bought a used LR Expedition Rack but...
I have the rack on my LR3. There are 4 metal plates with two threaded rods on each plate. Those plates are cut to fit into the rail system that is on your roof. You may be able to substitute a Yakima Landing Pad feet set that fits our rails and modify that setup if you have no luck getting... -

Since there are two holes in the leading edge of the intake cup it appears that something was intended to attach to this. Perhaps a louvered cap ? I can see how a LR3 in a less hot sun baked climate could be fine. As long as that rubber strip in the windshield base plastic piece does not pull... -

I really doubt there will be any air flow intake issues. The entire mouth of the black metal intake is still open behind the deflector I attached. It draws its air from that open area under the entire width of the windshield. I used the HVAC system this morning coming into work and everything... -
