275 or 265 with GAP tool only

Interesting, I haven’t really thought about it like that. I need to see if BFG makes those sizes

275 or 265 with GAP tool only

I can’t seem to find a clear answer anywhere on this very specific question. I have. stock 2011 LR4 5.0. I’m trying to decide between 265/65R18 and 275/65R18. I will be using BFG AT as the tire. Wheels are EVOCORSE DAKARZERO with 35 offset. I have the GAP tool, and at least for right now...

Tuffant Simpson 18" Alloys in Smoked Gray

Wow, I really like those!! Not a fan of black wheels, so I haven’t looked at the Tuffants, but with that grey, I’m going to do a serious look at them. Did you do any lift or mods to make them fit with the 265s?

At Long Last... Modern head unit!

I’ve never used the phone buttons, so I don’t know. It has wireless CarPlay, so I just say “hey Siri, call so and so”. I bought the Pioneer 7600NEX. But any single DIN floating unit would work. Alpine, Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood

At Long Last... Modern head unit!

I don’t know how it’s possible to retain the vehicle information from the previous radio. I still have factory backup sensors, camera, and steering wheel controls. Maybe if you bought some android unit, but I bought a Pioneer.

At Long Last... Modern head unit!

Yep! You could do a single din, double din, like the OP, or the single din floating unit, like me. I was deciding between the Alpine and the Pioneer. I went with the Pioneer because it had a USB-C connection on it.

At Long Last... Modern head unit!

Yes, except for the steering wheel controls. They still work for the presets and volume.

At Long Last... Modern head unit!

I keep meaning to post this, but I just did this a couple of weeks ago. I’m pretty sure I’m the first one in the country or world with a single din floating unit on a LR4. 2 weeks after asking Spiral Audio if they had a single din kit, it magically appeared on their website, and I jumped on it...

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

The question I have with the Kaymar is, does it really block the right tail light?? If it does, then it’s a nonstarter for me.

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

I’ll look into them. How’s the latch for daily use?

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

Those latches on the Tactical look a little different than the videos I have seen. I would love to see how that style works.

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

Oh really??? What has all broken on it? I was also looking at them for sliders.

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

That’s very valuable information. Honestly, I was looking at the Tactical, but the latch scares me. I have car seats in the back, so that’s not really an option.

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

That’s great to hear. Also, what wheel is that?? It looks like a 17.

    Rear wheel carrier latch question

I have a 2011, and I’m about to do wheels and tires, and I want to add a rear tire carrier, but I have a very specific question. Between, the Tactical 4x4, the TerraFirma, and the Voyager, which one has the best/easiest latch for daily driving? We will be taking this truck into the mountains...
