Other signs were the nuts of one the halfshafts came loose form the hub and needed to give a lot of gas during slow and tight cornering. The last couple of months I noticed that the truck was rubbing around corners and the tyres show premature wear at the running edges - clear signs of a seized VC! (120kmiles) I changed the VC with the transfer box in situ and I must say that it's very doable on a classic, it took me 3 hours...- Buwaldar

Pin assignment of radio
The two 8 pin connectors are basically iso standard, the red one with 10 connectors is for the amplifiers. As far as I know, not all the head units used for the P38 have a build in amplifier.- Buwaldar

Clarion head unit on a RRC - Fixed!
I experienced some serious problems with my Clarion head unit of my softdash (AMR2384). It drained my battery, played only now and then and popped hard sometimes. I took the whole thing apart and found out that the soldered connections at the underside of the main circuit board were badly...- Buwaldar

New member with a '94 RRC
Its the single knob version. Took the thing apart and cleaned the battery connections. There is a micro switch on the circuit board. It's possible to open the swtich, the contacts inside were corroded. Works fine now and with a much improved range.- Buwaldar

Changed the battery - will take it apart and clean it with wd40. Hope it will extend the range. What is the location of the receiver/antenna in the car?- Buwaldar

Hi there, Changed from Rover P6 to '94 Range Rover Classic last month. Very nice car in glossy Beluga Black Voque SE SWB softdash.
