2011 lr4 hd radio problem
I think my HD radio stopped working several months ago as well (2011 LR4). I just figured something went wrong with the radio or antenna, but wonder if there's something else if several others have suddenly experienced the same thing - has HD radio changed in some way, and our outdated radios... -

I've run the Cooper Zeon LTZs on my 2011, and found them to be only OK. As many have mentioned, once they are about half worn, the noise becomes VERY noticeable. In snow, they were OK - better than the OEM Conti's which were garbage in snow, but not confidence inspiring. I'm now running... -

Doing my oil change on 2010 LR4.
I'm no expert, but I've been using that for oil changes every 7500 miles or so on my 2011, probably for the past 4-5 years (once I had enough of paying for the $300 dealer oil changes). My LR4 has been running great (up to 85k miles), and I just had the dealer inspect the timing chains... -

I know this has been asked before, but which oil to use in the LR4 2016 model?
I've been purchasing the Castrol Edge Extended Performance Fully Synthetic (meets Ford/LR standards) on Amazon for a few years (doing oil changes every 7-8k miles - 1/2 suggested intervals). It is 5W-20, but I think that's the actual suggested grade if I'm not mistaken. 5 quart bottles... -

LR4 Brake Pads: Aftermarket Alternative?

Atlantic British diagnostics tool?
Interesting, it does say in the description on their site that it can be used to program key fobs, but maybe only for certain models. I actually purchased (from Atlantic British) the cheaper iCarsoft tool a few years ago, primarily to reset service reminders (dealer wanted $70 just to do that)... -

75k Miles - Service
My 2011 LR4 is nearing 75k miles. Been changing the oil on my own every 7500 miles or so since it hit around 45k miles, and I take care of the pollen & engine air filters. Looking through the maintenance schedule, it looks like a few 'big' items would be coming due soon, including rear locking... -

LR4 Headlights Flicker?!?!
I had this happening on my 2011 about a year or so ago (when it was about 5 years old), using the DDM HID kit. Thought the kit was going bad. Decided to change battery since I figured it was probably due for that, and the problem went away. May have been lucky, but you may want to check on... -

Running Winter/Snow tires in relatively warmer temperature areas
I'm running the Michelin Premier LTX on my 2011 LR4. Previously ran the OEM Contis and then Cooper Zeons. The Michelin's are much better in both dry (smooth and quiet) and wet (good grip) compared to those two tires, IMO, and they've held their own in the snow so far (I'm in the Northeast)... -

Seeking iPhone holder suggestions for 2011 LR4
ProClip mount works nicely with a magnetic mount- you can set the mount toward the top right edge. Depending on how you position the steering wheel and the size of the phone, it could come close to the wiper stalk, but I don't have an issue with my iPhone 6+. -

iPod Connection for iPhone 6S Plus (LR4 '11)
You may also want to check out the Tune2air WMA1000 on Amazon. Let's you stream via bluetooth - no need to plug in the iPhone since it connects automatically. Been using it for a year or two in my 2011 LR4 and it works fine. -

Sunroof shade - solid instead of mesh
I bought some black cloth at a crafts store and trimmed it to the size of the top of the shade. Used some small velcro tabs around the frame of the shade and on the shade itself (along the sides) to hold the cloth in place. You can access it from the top by keeping the shade closed and opening...
