Antifreeze leak
I have an 04 disco II that had similar symptoms, turned out the head gasket was nearly disintegrated.... So replaced just in time. Haven't lost a drop since and no more burning antifreeze smell after I park it. May not be your issue, but hope it helps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk- houstonrover09

Brake Master Cylinder or Modulator
Are you looking to take care of the lights or the spongy brake pedal? An ABS code reader might be able to help you diagnose the tres amigos problems. I just had to replace a bad wheel bearing that was just bad enough to cause the amigos but not really notice much while driving. The modulator fix...- houstonrover09
