At Long Last... Modern head unit!
Holy cow, I’d def just to got a custom audio shop to replace whatever is needed to have a good setup. Specially since you have the dvd config too. Ok my end I think im going to go with one of the CarPlay modules and test it out this summer. For $400-$500 bucks I think it’s worth the gamble... -

At least I got to watch the indy mechanic do it, once I’ve seen it done I usually have the confidence to diy it in the future. At 500 bucks it wasn’t dirt cheap, but was way better than the dealer quote. Plus the mechanic squeezed me in and knocked it out same day. That was really nice. -

Got the vacuum pump installed and am back home from the indy shop. They knocked it out in a little less than hour and charged no labor, just ~$500 for parts + oil. If anything they think it's barely a seep on the timing cover on the passenger side, or possibly residual oil spray from what was... -

First quote from indy shop is ~$500 total for vacuum pump, and $2k - $2.5k for the valve cover. They can do the vacuum pump today, but not the valve cover till next month. I'm leaning towards getting the vacuum pump done (which they says has the potential to leak the most since it's lower) and... -

Whelp, it was a PCV bleeder hose. $90 plastic hose sitting on top of the engine was cracked and sucking in air. Popped off the old one and installed the new one, no tools even required. -

New Recall Alert : Fuel System
Now that I think of it, I think I'm hitting that lower full gas threshold too. Just filled up from close to having the empty warning light come on and it was right around 17 gallons (or just under). Used to get close to 19 pre-recall work. -
