REALLY old nos???
NOS....new old stock. Heres a really old new part, ronos?..lol. Lower steering column, oe aftermarket from Atlantic british. Anyone tell why i saw it must be really old? Guess someone hasn't changed tooling in awhile.- MellonRover

Threshold scratches....the ocd in me
Yep, the plates only cover the main wear areas, and the rear are really small. Started with the vice, then tweaked with the pliers. Door seems to seal just fine, no discernable downsides. 3M double sided is sticking strong after a good isopropyl wipe down on the truck.- MellonRover

In due time. I just retired my 95 mercedes from daily duty, I always try to head off damage before it's an issue. You can bet when I get my bush pinstripes I'll wear them with pride.- MellonRover

Marketplace/Craigslist finds?
Pardon if there already is a Marketplace/Craigslist/Kijii thread for us to share good deals with each other. Saw this, but 3.75hrs one way is too far. Seller says tires are 2018. Buying this 2015 LR4 Lux Pkg w/ HD Pkg, but am freaking out about the RUST! Should I walk?
Pfftt... that is all minor surface rust on thick structural pieces. KTM is correct. don't worry the timing belt :p or the "dozens" of electrical issues. That vehicles rust is nothing special for anything from the northeast, or anywhere else in the rustbelt. Agreed, do use it to negotiate!- MellonRover

Front driveshaft bolts went missing!! And an introduction
All fixed....lucky i had my 8 year old to hold the brake and release as I rotated driveshaft. Make use of assistants that will be paid in sour patch kids while I can! Also want to thank the JLR engineers, that heavy "parts grabber plate" on the bottom of the truck did its job, found these on...- MellonRover

I see theres a 45 nm sequence 1, followed by a 90 degree tightening. Bet some shadtree "tightened it ' bout right "- MellonRover

Bolts and half moon washers. Pics and part #'s Bolts- TYG500141 "Moon plate" bolt backing plate - TYF00010 Forgot to ask earlier....Is this normal for a rover? To just shed parts holding rotating masses?- MellonRover
