Oil Report
I got the lab work back from Blackstone. Their analysis shows no signs of the T case needing replacement. So, where to look next? I imagine there are some universal or CV joints where the drive safts leave the T case, how best to test them?
I tried to attach the report but it...
Well, I certainly didn't mean to start a ******* match.
I have sent the oil sample to Blackstone and will see what they say. I find it odd that it isn't cheaper to fix the whine than replace the whole part. I guess time is on my side becaus i'm out of warranty and it isnt going to cost...

Thanks for the replies.

The car has 71K street miles so it...

Suncor doesn't do it and Rover Renovation offered to use mine as a 'first'. Kind of looking for someplace that has done it before...
Radio Shack
I bought a gizmo at Radio Shack for hooking up multiple headphones to an Ipod or the like. It has an amplifier built in which runs on 2 AA batteries. It makes it louder with little loss of sound quality. It was less tha $25 and batteries seem to last 4-6 months, left on.
