Thanks to all for the feedback. I looked into the ESP warranty although it seems this is no longer available with current ownership under Tata. I ended up going with the Continental warranty under a negotiated price of $3100. -

Water leak after heavy rain in passenger footwell

Great roof rail design
Attached are a few basic pictures. The one on the left shows the points of attachment to the roof that remain when nothing is loaded. I currently have the bike racks attached to the crossbars although this would clearly work just as easily with a cargo case. -
