    Good purchase price/lease?

Lease it. Here's why: the resale on the V6 is going to suck and you want to trade in about three years you say. It's not so bad with the SE but still, lease it. There are far too many HSE's rolling around. Given the choice of a used car market, the smart buying is always going to take the...

    My issues of the LR3

God I hate rear view cameras and the "sonar" too. Just facilitates people that lack the ability to drive large vehicles to actually drive one. I figure 9 out of 10 Escalade drivers are unsafe steering a shopping cart. Anyways, do not buy or lease this vehicle. Why would you with that...

Sold after six months? Man, you must have taken a bath.

    Lr3 Vs RR Sport

I for one would consider 65k a great price tag. The RRS is what? 75k I think? 10k cheaper, more room, more off road and some solid acceleration, that would be perfect. Is it a nice, modestly priced luxury SUV with real off road capability as is? Sure is. I use it for my daily drive but I...

    Lease or Buy

I did not see a poll function so sorry, no poll. Just post if you leased or bought. I leased, 39 months.

    Lr3 Vs RR Sport

Rover: I just traded a Titan and replaced it with the LR3. The Titan is, of course, the pick up version of the Armada. Unless you have some NOS installed in your LR3, there is no way you are dropping an Armada. Trust me on this, that Nissan engine is a puller and the gearing is enough to...

    Lr3 Vs RR Sport

Rover: Glad to hear you are enjoying your Rover like that :) Do not get me wrong, it is an enjoyable vehicle and I knew exactly what I was getting when I leased it. However, go head to head against any number of other luxury SUVs and you will have your butt handed to you. Now again, I am...

    Lr3 Vs RR Sport

I get tired of people saying to "buy a sports car" when the very legitimate criticism of the acceleration of an LR3 is made. Face it, our LR3's are the slowest in their class. They are too heavy, the lbs/hp ratio sucks. Wanting brisk acceleration in your premium luxury SUV is not unreasonable...

Imagine paying $60,000 for a car that doesn't drive straight.

Call me jaded, but having about 350 FTEs and thousands of patients and families to deal with, I think I read people pretty well and from very limited data. Something tells me you were just not going to be happy with this vehicle. Look at the title to this thread and your attitude after visit...

    LR3 vs. Lexus GX

Just an observation, if you are changing prices around as you describe, that is a very odd "one price seller".

    First Off-Pavement Run

Glad you enjoyed it. The tune is from Triple *** (Vin Diesel movie) and the artist is Gavin Rosedale sans Bush. I think probably one of his last efforts as he seems to be rather retired into the role of Mr. Gwen Steffani these days. I used to enjoy Bush back in the day and have always like...

    First Off-Pavement Run

Not true. You still have to merge with highway traffic in an LR3. Heavy traffic and short ramps creates a use for acceleration. There are many more valid instances, this is just one. In every day life, no one has to worry about angle of attack.

    First Off-Pavement Run

Another climb for the day. This person had never driven an LR3 off road. As you can see, the truck easily pulled him right to the top and HDC made the descent easy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLGYbilBgHU

    First Off-Pavement Run

This is not too good nor too exciting as it is my first experiments with video editing software. This is just a 2:17 video of the day. I have much more video from the trip and will post more of it and other escapades when I get time and better at editing. Sorry for the Utube quality, it...
